Formed over 20 years ago, Hastingwood Securities Ltd. is primarily a Property Development, Investment and Management Company with substantial interests in the Industrial and Commercial sectors.  The Company is privately held.

Despite its wealth of experience in property related activities such as residential and industrial development, hotels, timeshares, and construction, Hastingwood currently focuses on two core businesses, Industrial Trading Estates and Managed Business Centres.

In both these businesses, Hastingwood tries to be different – and we think we succeed.

 

Management.  We try to be engineering and knowledge based instead of taking the traditional Landlord’s view of property investment and tenants. 

Style.  We try to use the best of modern property management approaches and methods.

Service.  We are organised to provide comprehensive service – to borrow a phrase from the IT industry, we are trying to minimise the total cost of occupation for our tenants, and give them not only the best overall value for money but also more freedom to pursue their own business.

Added Value.  Tenant demand and in house expertise have taken the company into several business sectors where the services originally intended for internal use have been made available to  a wider market place.  These include IT Services, Data Centre and Web Hosting, Telephone services including VoIP and Procurement.

A focus of the Development arm has been the refurbishment and conversion of derelict factory space into multiple occupancy Trading Estates or Business Parks.

Hastingwood has over 500 tenants occupying over 800,000 sf.  There are 3 Management Offices, 2 in London and one in Birmingham, and we employ our own Maintenance  and Security staff.
